Pia Lo, Dance Journalist
Every dance tells a story, and I’m excited to share these with you. I travel the world to watch performances, visit dance companies, talk to dancers and choreographers, and take classes and workshops – all to appreciate dance from the perspective of its artists.
Here you’ll find reviews, interviews and reflections of my experiences, as well as the latest news of what’s happening in dance around the world.
My writings have appeared in Dance International , The Dance Current and Bachtrack magazines. I have been a moderator for pre-show talks for performances presented by Ballet BC and Dance House, and for Dance House’s Speaking of Dance events. I’m also a Dance Ambassador with the Canadian Dance Assembly, Canada’s national service organization for dance.
I also have a finance degree and work for an international bank, but that’s another story…
