Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, Seattle – November 5, 2016, matinee

The Pacific Northwest Ballet performed a triple bill with works from three renowned choreographers:
‘Brief Fling’ – Twyla Tharp (1990)
‘Forgotten Land’ – Jiří Kylián (1981)
‘Stravinsky Violin Concerto’ – George Balanchine (1972)

That the company performed each of these varied pieces so well is akin to a painter who is able to paint a Van Gogh, a Picasso and a Rembrandt. It is wonderful to see the return of talented principal dancer, Rachel Foster, this season.
